Band Central for Web -- Build 297

August 26, 2026

  • When the same file is attached to several songs, Band Central keeps one copy and points every song at it. Removing that file from one song no longer deletes the copy the other songs are still using.
  • New language picker in the top bar, on both the public site and the signed-in app.
  • The app itself is translated, not just the frame around it: the lyric page you perform from, the lyric editor, printing, the Bands cards, the Songs list with its toolbar and every column heading, Setlists with its sort and export menus, and Tags.
  • Exporting a song list or a setlist to CSV or HTML writes the column headings in your language too, so the file reads like the screen it came from.
  • The dialogs are translated too: adding and editing songs, setlists, bands, tags and lyric versions, plus sharing to another band, the Settings screen and your profile.
  • The setlist detail screen, the Files view and the songs inside a tag are translated, down to the file status labels and the page controls under the table.
  • Dates and times now follow your language: a German setlist reads 27.07.2026 - 17:30 instead of Jul 27, 2026 - 5:30 PM, and it changes the moment you switch language.
  • Eleven languages: English, Arabic, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal) and Spanish -- the same set the apps are translated into.
  • If you have not picked a language, the site opens in the one your browser asks for, and falls back to English.
  • Your choice is remembered on that device, and a ?lang= link opens the site straight into that language.
  • Arabic mirrors the whole layout right to left. Prices stay left to right so they read correctly.
  • Plan names and prices stay in English and US dollars so they match what the App Store and Google Play show at checkout.
  • The free musician tools are translated too: the metronome, tap tempo, the chord transposer and the ChordPro converter.
  • Help articles, the blog, the gear and comparison guides, and the ChordPro converter question-and-answer section are still English only.
  • The subscribe help page no longer links to a pricing page that does not exist, and now describes how to subscribe in the app instead of pointing at a button the website does not have.
  • Moving files into Band Central storage is now verified end to end: the transfer confirms each file arrived before it is recorded, and the Files view re-checks everything it just moved and flags anything that did not make it, so a file can no longer look stored on the website while failing to download on your phone.
  • Fixed the contact form silently losing your message whenever you attached a screenshot. The image uploaded, the send then failed, and nothing reached us. If you ever attached a screenshot and heard nothing back, that is why, and it works now.
  • New Repair option on the Files page for a file that has gone missing from Band Central. It points the song back at your Dropbox copy so you can move it across again, or clears the missing copy so you can upload it fresh. Until now a file in that state could not be fixed from anywhere in the app.
