Band Central for Web -- Build 312
October 27, 2026
- Transpose and capo are now just for you. You can also set the band key for everyone, and anyone can go back to the band key.
- Two sections, Repertoire and Band: switch between them at the top of the page. The menu on the left (or the tabs at the bottom of a phone) only shows the pages of the section you are in, and the band name at the top switches bands.
- New Band overview: who is in the band, your plan and Band Central Storage use, with a link to each.
- New Members page: add, invite and remove band members. Delete band is now under Band > Settings.
- The Import from Setlist Helper window now explains the import before you start: it is a one-time copy into the band you picked, nothing in Setlist Helper changes, and what happens to files. It asks for your Setlist Helper user name (not your email), and the button says Start import.
- The Members page shows how many of your plan's member spots are used, with a bar, for example "3 of 6 member spots used". Pending invitations count toward the limit.
- Band cards show Manage band in place of the separate Users, Edit and Delete options.
- On the Bands page, each band card's View button is now Repertoire.
- A redesigned Songs page: the song count at the top, one Add song button, a search for songs or artists, and Tag, Artist, Genre and Key filters.
- Tick songs to add them to a setlist, tag them, share them to another band or delete them, all from one bar. On a phone, press and hold a song (or choose Select songs) to start.
- The song list shows Name, Artist, Genre, Key, BPM, Length and how many setlists each song is in. Click a song name to open its lyrics.
- The lyrics page gives the words the whole screen. The menu on the left steps aside, and on a phone the lyrics get a compact header of their own.
- Back on the lyrics page says where it goes (Songs, the setlist, tag, artist or genre) and returns you there with your search, filters and sort still in place, with the song you were on highlighted.
- Previous and next on the lyrics page move through the songs the list was showing, in its order, and show where you are, for example "4 of 12". On a phone they sit at the bottom of the screen with the song names, and swiping still works.
- Choose a lyric version from the toolbar: your default has a star, and the same menu adds a version, renames it or makes it your default. On a phone the version opens a list at the bottom of the screen.
- On a computer, press Esc to go back from the lyrics, and [ or ] for the previous or next song.
- Your search, filters and sort on the Songs page are now part of the page address, so the browser Back button and a reload keep them.
- Setlists are grouped into Upcoming (soonest first) and Past (most recent first), with setlists that have no date in their own group. The next gig gets a highlighted date and a Next badge that says how many days away it is.
- Search the Setlists page by setlist name or venue. Sorting and exporting the list are under More, and Edit details, Duplicate and Delete are in each setlist's menu.
- The preview beside the setlist list now looks exactly like the printed setlist: the song names, numbered, with each set break as a heading. Print and Open setlist are labelled buttons above it.
- An open setlist keeps the band switcher at the top and gives the songs the whole width. Setlists, at the top left, takes you back to the list with your search and the setlist still selected.
- At the top of an open setlist: the date, time and venue (with Edit details), and the number of songs, the total time and how many sets.
- Add songs opens a panel beside the setlist: search your songs and press Add. Songs already in the setlist say In list, and you can still add them again. Songs go after the song you have ticked, or at the end, and you can drag a song from the panel into the list.
- Drag a song by its handle to move it, or focus the handle and use the up and down arrow keys. Tick songs to remove several from the setlist at once.
- The setlist table shows Name, Artist, Key, BPM and Length, with a dash where a value is not set, and each set break shows how many songs are in its set and how long it runs.
- Gig times no longer show seconds, and total times under an hour read like 48:30.
- A clearer New setlist window: a name, the date and time (new gigs start at 8:00 PM) and the venue. Venue suggests the places your band has played before as you type.
- Dates in the setlist window follow your language, whether you pick one from the calendar or type it, for example 20.12.2026 in German.
- Press Create without a name and the window now says what is missing, instead of a greyed-out button. Press Enter in any field to save.
- On a phone, New setlist and Edit details open full screen, with Create or Save at the top.
- Fixed: saving Edit details no longer sets the setlist's song count and total time to zero.
- A clearer Add song and Edit song window, also used for set breaks: the name, artist and genre, then Key, BPM and the time signature on one row, and the length as minutes and seconds.
- Leave the name empty or type 75 seconds and the window now says what to fix, instead of a greyed-out button. Songs can now be longer than 59 minutes. Press Enter in any field to save.
- Less common choices sit in their own section at the bottom, each with a short explanation: Change only this setlist's copy, Hide this song (it leaves your song lists without being deleted), and updating a song shared with another band.
- On a phone, Add song and Edit song open full screen, with Add or Save at the top.
- Fixed: editing a song from a setlist no longer puts back its old tags or lyric count, and editing a song no longer brings back one that was deleted on another device in the meantime.
- Fixed: Add song in an empty setlist now puts the new song in the setlist, and editing the first song of a setlist saves again.
- On a phone, a setlist is one tidy list with Add songs at the bottom of the screen. Choose Reorder from a song's menu to move songs, or press and hold a song to select songs to remove.
- A redesigned Tags page: search your tags, see how many songs each has, and on a computer the selected tag's songs show beside the list with the song count and total time. On a phone or tablet a tag opens its own page.
- A tag's songs use the same grid as the Songs page: Name, Artist, Genre, Key, BPM, Length and In setlists, sorted by clicking a column. Search the songs, and use a song's menu to edit it or take it out of the tag. Rename and delete a tag from its menu.
- A new Add songs window for tags: search by song or artist, tick the songs you want, and press Add. Songs already in the tag are marked In tag. On a phone it opens full screen.
- New tag says what is missing, stops you from creating a second tag with the same name, and goes straight on to choosing the songs for the new tag.
- The Artists and Genres pages look like the Tags page: search the list, see each artist's or genre's song count, and on a computer its songs show beside the list in the Songs grid. Back from a song's lyrics returns to the same artist or genre with the song highlighted.
- The menu on the left now shows how many artists and genres your band has, beside Artists and Genres, like Songs, Setlists and Tags.
- Fixed: a tag whose songs were tagged with a capital letter (for example Dad) now shows its songs on the web, and renaming or deleting a tag updates those songs too.
- Fixed: taking a song out of a tag could remove a different tag from that song instead.
- A refreshed Bands page: the bands you opened most recently come first, each card shows song and setlist counts and the plan (or who owns the band), there is a search box once you have more than six bands, and on a phone the cards are compact with large Repertoire and Manage band buttons.
