Troubleshooting & FAQ

Quick fixes for the most common issues. If something here doesn't solve it, contact support with your device model and app version.

My changes aren’t syncing

Make sure you have an internet connection — sync needs one. If you are connected but a change isn't appearing, force-close and reopen the app to nudge the queue, and confirm both devices are signed in to the same account. Remember there is no Sync button; syncing is automatic. See Cloud Sync & Offline Use.

The app feels slow

Close and reopen the app and make sure you are on the latest version. On iOS, sign out and back in to refresh your data. On Android, clear the app cache (Settings > Apps > Band Central > Storage > Clear Cache) and sign back in.

My imported PDFs aren’t on this device

Song data syncs automatically, but PDF/audio files download per device. Open Songs and choose Update Dropbox Files on this device to pull them down. Only run the original Dropbox import on one device. See PDF Charts & Documents.

A chart looks different on my iPad than my iPhone

Text Size (zoom) is saved per device, so the same lyric can be sized differently on each. Open Text Size on the device that looks off and adjust it; formatting, colors, and annotations are shared — only the zoom is per device.

The website is slow or won’t save

Refresh the page or clear your browser cache, and make sure you are on a current browser. A hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R) clears a stale cached build. If changes won't stick, sign out and back in.

My foot pedal stopped working

Confirm the pedal is still paired in your device's Bluetooth settings and its battery is charged; toggle Bluetooth off and on and re-select it if it dropped. Keeping the screen awake helps, and on Android turn off battery optimization for Band Central. Full steps: Foot Pedals & Page Turners.

Audio or a PDF won’t open on the website

Attached PDFs and audio play in the iOS and Android apps, not on the website yet. Open the song on a phone or tablet to view the chart or play the track.
