Bands & Members
A band is a shared workspace — everyone sees the same songs, lyrics, and setlists. Here is how to create bands, manage who is in them, and move songs between bands you own.
Create a band
After signing in, create a band and give it a name; you become the owner. Owners add members and hold the subscription that covers the whole band.
Add or remove members
Only the owner can. Open the Bands page and manage the band's members. The person must already have a Band Central account — have them sign in once, then search by email and add them. On Android, tapping Add User commits immediately; remove a member with the trash icon.
What owners and members can do
Everyone in a band can view and edit songs, lyrics, and setlists — it is a shared workspace. Only the owner can add or remove members and holds the subscription that sets the band's limits (how many members and songs). Removing a member ends their access to that band, but everything they added stays with the band. How many bands and members you can have depends on your plan — see Plans & Subscriptions.
Switch between bands
If you are in more than one band, use the band selector to switch. Each band is completely separate — its own songs, setlists, and tags — so nothing crosses over unless you explicitly share it (below).
Share songs between your bands
If you own two bands, use Share from the song list to copy songs (and your own lyrics) into another band you own. The copies stay linked in two-way sync — edit in either band and the other updates — until you Disconnect them. One share copies up to 100 songs.
